Unfortunately, no. The deposit is for my business to reserve the date and time for you and we will not make any other reservations or accept any other clients for said date and time.
17. What is your story?

I'm often asked the question, "how did you start photography?" - Well, I am not one of those naturally talented photographers who picked up a camera when they were a kid and just knew they could take good pictures.
Initially my husband was the hobbyist photographer in the family and I was the self-pointed “Financial Controller” who was always complaining about how much money we wasted in photography gear. Whenever he wanted to buy a new lens, there was always an argument, which made both of us resentful no matter what was the outcome (to buy or not to buy).
One day, I was so sick of banging my head against the same brick wall and decided that I wanted to use the cameras too, to make the most of everything. I enrolled myself in some photography classes and started just like that. I spent hours and hours on practicing, learning to recognize good light, compose my shot, shoot manual, wait for the right moment etc. After a year, even my husband admitted that I took better pictures than him and let me have all of his photography gear and shifted his interest from photography to golf. I am sure he is more or less proud of my stubbornness which makes things work.
I am not a successful photographer yet, actually far from becoming one, but I am not a bitter, unhappy housewife either, which is a big turnaround for me.
You may have heard the serenity prayer written by American theologian Reinhold Niebuhr many times before, but I still would like to share with you one more time: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference. “
